Welcome to the first post in our new blog!
By way of introduction, we are retired and will be celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary in 2022. We've enjoyed traveling and camping together over the years and still fondly recall our honeymoon trip that included camping at Mammoth Cave National Park. We stayed in the park in a small tent and cooked meals in a nested aluminum cook set over a Coleman stove that we still have.
We camped in a heavy canvas tent when our sons were young and eventually transitioned to a 1993 23' Shasta Class C motorhome in 2001.
While we really enjoyed camping and traveling in a Class C, we did trade it off in 2017 for a used 2015 25' Rockwood Mini Lite 2503S travel trailer that we pull with a 2008 Chevrolet Suburban.
Camping in the Mini Lite has been wonderful and we've taken it on trips to visit family in North Carolina, a spring trip to Florida, and numerous trips that involved wonderful visits with our grandkids.
We're now excited about our recent acquisition of a 1996 Roadtrek 210 Popular and are embarking on another camping transition to Class B camping.
Over the years we've benefitted greatly from resources others have shared via blogs or YouTube videos. We hope to now give back a bit to the broader community by passing along information as we move along through our version of travel adventures.
We're glad you stopped by and hope you will consider commenting or leaving questions and share in our journeys.
