Westward Drive to Colorado

We enjoyed a wonderful 20 day trip from central Missouri to Colorado the last couple of weeks in May. 

I am finally beginning to post some YouTube videos that focus on some of the hikes and other highlights.

This initial post includes linked screenshots to the respective daily videos that are uploaded on YouTube.

The westward portion of the trip was 982 miles with an initial stop to visit friends in McPherson, KS. We then spent one night in Garden City, KS and a couple of nights at Lathrop State Park in Colorado before reaching Bayfield, CO. 

We spent two nights at the Vallecito National Forest Campground before relocating nearby for a week in a rental house overlooking Vallecito Lake.

Annie performed well, including topping Wolf Creek Pass at 10,856 feet on U.S. 160 in the San Juan Mountains.
